If you search the internet and look for the two most commonly used words by journalists describing the lakers 97-91 loss would be: collapse and meltdown.
But I am not a journalists I'm a Laker fan, been one for the longest, before Kobe and Shaq came to the squad. So as a fan of the Lakers that loss was just pathetic, dissaponting, and a down right disasater. Anyone can break down this game in anyway they please, but the bottom line is this the Lakers choked and gave away a pivotal game 5 to go 3-1.
Make no mistake, a two game deficit is not impossible to overcome, but sure as hell aint easy. Every single player for the Lakers gonna have to give 1,000,000% and nothing else. So that means Gasol can't play like 7 foot tall pussy. Odom needs think a hell of a lot more, Kobe can NOT have another terrible fourth quarter. And most importantly Coach Phil Jackson needs to manage this next game without any flaws.
